Cinda voices her doubts about attending the masquerade ball. Raven reveals that Santa left her special gift at the ball. Her job is to retrieve it.

I love this book. The idea of meeting someone and getting their card, but you lose it. How do you contact that person? Cinda keeps thinking of Jack and all the details from that night she met Jack. How could she forget details from that night? Will the masquerade ball change her life?
I gave 4 stars because I did not think it was exactly erotic. It was not like the other books I have read in this genre. I also wanted to know more about what happened between Cinda and Jack.

Loved this short story of a caterpillar that turns into a butterfly. Then finds her perfect stranger again.
This is by far my favorite in the Steamy Interludes collection by Morgan Kay. I really loved this story. I would have loved to have so much more and this be a full novel, I didn't want it to end. I really enjoyed the secondary characters of Raven and Jeb as well. Morgan Kay did a great job with this one!
Six months after meeting Jack at the airport, Cinda still pines for him. Her best friend Raven wants to give Cinda a makeover and help her find the perfect stranger. The two decide to go to this ball to help Cinda meet a stranger and have the time of her life. But will Cinda be able to put her feelings for Jack aside and meet someone new or will fate have them running into wag other again? This was one of my favorite short stories from Morgan Kay!
Great fast read. I think every woman can see a little bit of herself in Cinda. And I think we've all had that experience at least once in our life where we definitely click with someone and then something happens to keep you from getting in touch again. I really liked the way that the story played out with Raven and Jeb as well...I don't want to give anything away but the story and the characters were perfectly set up for the HEA.
I definitely recommend this one!
Another short but good read. I wish this would have had Jack's pov in this as well.
I felt sorry for Cinda to a point. She was so down on herself with no self confidence. Was glad to finally see she was worth something thanks to her friend Raven. I wish we would have had a wee bit more details in the story. So much more could have been added to make a complete read.
Great story concept. Liked the characters. Written as a single pov.
All in all, a nice read, but I wouldn't call it erotic.

Perfect Stranger was another short read with a good premise. I loved the make-over aspect to set Cinda up to to have a little fun and cut loose. I really enjoyed Raven, she was free-spirited and obviously loved her best friend. I did feel like the details surrounding the makeover may have been a little much, it seemed to take a lot of focus of the story. I would have liked to see less time spent on the getting there and a little more about Jack, reuniting, building a relationship, etc. I also felt that this story could have been a little steamier, it doesn't seem to live up to it's advertisement in that regard.
Overall, a quick read that was enjoyable.
Of all of the books in this series, I enjoyed this one the most and could actually relate to Cinda. Cinda is down on herself and one of the bright spots is a man she had an unexpected encounter with during her travels, but she lost the only way she had to contact him. Thinking he probably wasn't serious anyway, she daydreams what could have been. Cinda's friend, Raven, is an awesome best friend and is genuinely concerned about Cinda and does what she can to help her shed her low self-esteem and blossom into what Raven sees. This story kept my interest and I was smiling throughout this story and was so happy to see Cinda evolve. Jack sounds amazing! I would love to see a story with Raven and Jeb!
